Contemporary Design

This project was completed in 2015. The original landscape consisted of tiny decks outlined with large plants, creating cramped, awkward spaces. The Hollies, a Magnolia tree and other plants were transplanted from around the decks to fill in gaps in the screening. New raised terraces and expansive steps were designed and built to connect the home to the pool area.  Materials were carefully selected, with lots of input from the home owner, to coordinate with materials of the home. A built in barbecue and wet bar were custom designed to specifications discussed with the Owners. The swimming pool patio was enlarged and new pavers were installed. The backyard now matches the grace and elegance of the existing home.
